My Story

4 years ago, I was at my absolute heaviest I had ever been. I couldn't stand looking at myself in the mirror. I hated clothes shopping because nothing fit right and I felt like I always had to go back out and get a size bigger. I finally decided I had to do something about it. So, I joined Weight Watchers the day after Easter 2011. In 14 months time, I was able to drop 65 lbs! This was 98% nutritional change. I HATED exercise so I tried hard to not have to do it.

Last year, several events happened in my life that I used as excuses to eat whatever I wanted again. I put on about 25 lbs in a very short period of time and those feelings that I used to carry came back.

January was a turning point for me. I decided enough was enough and I wanted to get my life back on track so that when I turn 30 this year (yikes), I can say "This is the best year EVER"!

I got back on track with my relationship with Christ first, because I knew that was more important than being "skinny" again. And in February, I was able to start getting back on track physically.

I started PiYo by recommendation of my Beachbody coach and fell in love with it. NEVER in a million years did I think I could fall in love with working out. HA! I finished 2- 60 day rounds of PiYo before starting 21 Day Fix! I had several people contact me about what I was doing, so I decided to go ahead and become a coach myself. I started drinking Shakeology too at this point which has helped me stay on track with my nutrition. It's also given me more energy, helps me sleep better, and has improved my overall health.

I love my Beachbody family (coaches and challenge group buddies). They have been such an encouragement to me. I now eat healthy and exercise as a way of life. And, I would not be where I am, if it were not for them! Thank you all!!

If you are interested in more information about how I got to where I am today, I would LOVE to share it with you!
